One of the most confounding issues with the “Environmental movement” is that if you do not agree with and follow both their premises and recommendations, you become the enemy. This may sound extreme. But I ask you to take a hard look at it.

Starting about 20 years ago, the environmental movement made the claim 98% of all scientists believe that Climate Change is real.  As stated on that oh so reliable online information source Wikipedia:

Nearly all actively publishing climate scientists (97–98%) support the consensus on anthropogenic climate change, and the remaining 2% of contrarian studies either cannot be replicated or contain errors. A 2019 study found scientific consensus to be at 100%.

This bizarre “consensus” has been the main driving force behind the Globalist push toward climate laws. Consider The Paris Climate Accord, UN Agenda 21 (later renames Agenda 2030), The Green New Deal etc etc etc. All of these Globalist plans have 2 things in common. 1) They start with The Earth is warming and it is caused by Man. 2) A Global movement must be enacted that will set a climate agenda.

That Climate Agenda requires: 1) Massive governmental controls on all industry, 2) Massive amounts of money raised to implement a Global Reset, 3) The richest nations will pay for it.

Now considering that the smallest of these movements (The Green New Deal) has a Price tag attached of over $80 Trillion. Now considering that the TOTAL Gross Domestic Product of the United States in 2020 was $20 Trillion, this plan is completely impossible. Then extrapolate that to include the Whole world and you realize none of this is possible.

5 years ago, the Climate Change Nazi’s lost their minds when President Trump withdrew the US from The Paris Climate Accord. They made the claim that President Trump did not believe in Climate Change and was Pro Pollution. What they could never wrap their heads around was that President Trump simply said that the United States would not be paying for this ridiculous plan and that the plan itself was so fatally flawed that we would not abide by it.

Of course, When the Democrats took over in 2021, one of the many executive orders signed was rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement – committing American Tax dollars to a Globalist fund and requiring the US to comply with environmental controls that will not achieve the goals they were intended to solve.

There is no common sense in these Globalist Movements. And much of this is because they were flawed from the beginning. There was NO scientific consensus. The 98% number was a lie propagated by the media to get people to support it. AND THEN the same media was not there to FACT CHECK itself about it.

Ooops Ooops Ooops Kinda Got off Track

When I start ranting about Climate Change I kind of forget myself. I was trying to make a point.

As I started this, I noted about not agreeing with one of their premises made you the enemy. The Climate Change Globalists have an Agenda. And that Agenda may be flavored by Climate, but it has everything to do with Global Totalitarian Domination of the Population.

I would like to suggest that we can all be better global citizens – and protect that planet we live on – by following a few short rules that the Boy Scouts have been following for 100 years. They are like The Golden Rules for Scouting.

The Outdoor Code

Be Clean in my Outdoor Manners – I will treat the Outdoors as a Heritage. I will try to improve it for myself and others. I will keep my trash and garbage out of America’s waters, fields, woods and roadways.

Be Careful with Fire – I will prevent wildfire. I will build my fire in a safe place and be sure it is out before I leave.

Be Considerate in the Outdoors – I will treat public and Private Property with respect. I will remember that use of the outdoors is a right that I can lose by abuse.

Be Conservation Minded – I will learn how to practice good conservation if soil, waters, forests, minerals, grasslands, wildlife, and energy. I will urge others to do the same.

When the first settlers came to the United States, the whole vast country belonged to everyone. Today every square inch belongs to somebody. No matter where you go, you are someone’s guest. Act like one!

Throughout human history we have struggled with the idea of conservation and respect for the environment. Funny thing that found in the pages of the Boy Scout Handbook you can find a short set of rules, that if followed, would solve a lot of the environmental problems that we have today.

I would argue that a majority of people agree with and would follow this se of rules. And I would further argue that in  pointing this out, it shows that the solutions of the Critical Environmental theorists noted above have VERY LITTLE to do with solving environmental issues almost everything to do with changing the political structure – which they feel they would better be able to manage the people involved.

Pollution is Bad! It needs to be cleaned up. Those responsible need to be held to a higher standard. All of them.

I say all of them in light of an incident that did not receive the attention is should have. Again from Wikipedia:

The 2015 Gold King Mine waste water spill was an environmental disaster that began at the Gold King Mine near Silverton, Colorado, when Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) personnel, along with workers for Environmental Restoration LLC (a Missouri company under EPA contract to mitigate pollutants from the closed mine), caused the release of toxic waste water into the Animas River watershed. They caused the accident while attempting to drain ponded water near the entrance of the mine on August 5.

In this case, do-gooders from the EPA completely screwed up and polluted a river and an entire watershed. To this day, the EPA has not paid to resolve the damages. This is the same EPA used by the Obama administration to wreck havoc on industries for far less.
