ECONOMICS LESSON OF THE DAY

  • The present administration (THE DEMOCRATS) keep claiming they created 15 million jobs (it was far less than that).
  • A large percentage of those (less than) 15 million jobs were peoples’ 2nd and 3rd jobs.
  • They had to get these 2nd and 3rd jobs because the dollars they earn are worth less.
  • The dollars are worth less because of their (THE DEMOCRATS) economic policies.

THE DEMOCRATS messaging on this subject has been: Prices are higher because of Corporate Price Gouging . . . Because they have NO OTHER ANSWER as to why the economy under their “leadership” has failed so bad.


I pulled these bulleted points out of an article I was reading this morning. It had almost as much sarcasm as I wrote into it as well. I also do not remember where I saw it.

As we listen to the non stop barrage of political commercials this election season, I have been pointing out to my family all of the lies that are being told. They then get pissed at me because I always am getting bent out of shape about the claims/lies of the Democrats.

There are 2 reasons for this. 1) The democrat lies are so flagrant and are for the most part unquestioned anywhere, and 2) The democrats are running 4 times as many commercials as the Republicans.

It is the unquestioned/unchallenged part that I want to bring to light. 8 years ago, the media was ALL about getting the “facts” right. So much so that they made an entire industry out of the “fact checking” business. The funny part about that is that 95% of the fact checking industry arose in order to “fact check” and “debunk” anything and everything that Donald Trump said.

When they got rid of Trump as leader of the free world, they had nothing left to do . . . other than continue to be propagandists for their political faction.

So here we are today with an entire industry failing to do what it was created to do.

So I will be doing just that.

The Lesson of the Day

Todays Econ lesson makes us look at a democrat word salad to decode all that they are lying about. And there is a lot there.

  • 15 million jobs – is it employment or unemployment?
  • Claim they were caused by Trump – but they were really caused by the Pandemic
  • The number of jobs is inflated as there are many cases where people now must hold multiple jobs (note: I personally work 5 different jobs that I am paid for)
  • People have multiple jobs due to inflation caused by bad policies and spending implemented by the present administration.
  • The Democrat messaging on “inflation” is that what we are seeing is really “corporate price gouging”, which the democrats are planning to crack down on in order to save the middle class.
  • the “exact” same messaging is coming from all levels of this election (I am in Pennsylvania and have to hear the commercials for PA US Senate, President, and Delaware Governor). The messaging is identical.

None of these issues are simple. The idea from the point of view of the democrats is to obfuscate the facts of reality. And then suggest another option. They try to make it personal – a fight between all us little guys against the big, mean, greedy corporations who are stealing money from you.
