Death by a Thousand Cuts

Yesterday’s Supreme Court ruling that blocked Democrat plans to remove Donald Trump from the ballot has them pretty much in fits. It puts to bed a few of the thousand little little cuts they are trying to inflict upon the Trump campaign in the lead up to the election later this year.

Understand now. They knew that this would not succeed. Taking Trump off the ballot was a crazy long shot. Call it a moonshot in fact. As it clearly could not be supported Constitutionally. That being said, it had an impact.

  • Think of the cost in legal fees paid by Trump in Colorado, Illinois and Maine. Forget the other 15 or so states that also were working on similar legal campaigns.
  • They controlled the media narrative for the past year on the subject. It gave them unfettered ability to say whatever hairbrained thing they wanted to about Trump.
  • Not just on the Lamestream News, but also on all mainstream entertainment, talk shows and Comedy – Repeat, Repeat, Repeat
  • Queue in the supportive narrative from the Political bobble-heads in Washington DC and every state house whenever there was a camera to record them
  • There were entire factions of people who BELIEVED the narrative BS. Every Word.

So seeing a 9-0 SCOTUS Ruling did much to shut them up (or at least quiet them down for a time). And since they did not comment on the whole “Insurrection” part if things, the opposition still has their hopes up.

But since this was just a single campaign, it is on to the next.

  • Lawfare in New York already has him legally on the hook for almost $800 million. Will he get it back? Most likely. But the money is tied up.
  • Lawfare in DC (where everybody admits that it is not possible for Trump to receive a fair trial <no shit look at New York>) currently on hold
  • Lawfare in Georgia – looks like that is being handled by sexual misdeeds by the deep state actors
  • Lawfare in Florida – the documents case that will be thrown out

All of it costs money.

Which brings me back to the death by a thousand cuts. Because they have not even started on the election. By all accounts, the Democrats have nothing to run on. You can count on Abortion Abortion Abortion for the next nine months. But mark my words, they are preparing a lot of somethings special for all of our entertainment. I can’t imagine they have any more Billy Bush style “grab them by the p–sy” tapes or Stormy Daniels payoffs. But it will be somethings.

The question will remain. Will they bleed him dry?
