Today marks a new month with the New Moon in Taurus at 2:59 PM EST. We pay attention to the Sabian Symbol for this Astrological Month of “A white dove flying over troubled waters.”

Understanding the significance of this month and the symbols involves looking not only at the aspect of the Sun, but also of any other entity that is in aspect to the sun.

Now you can look at these in the chart. It is also helpful to compare your own personal chart to the aspects for the month to see if you are being pulled in one direction or another during the month.

In Astrology, a lot of what we are looking for and looking at are cycles. And we can compare the yearly cycle the same way we look at the monthly lunar cycle in terms of how it is broken up. So the Lunar cycle starts at New Moon, increases to Full and then decreases back to New throughout the course of the approximately 28 days.

It works the same for the annual cycle in the same proportions. As Laura Walker mentioned, this month and next month we carry the energy of a Crescent phase – challenge, growth, struggle, expansion, gathering. What this means for us is that the intentions that were set at the new moon (our personal intentions as well as the energy discharged on April 11th) are in that crescent phase. We are struggling to launch and doing all in our power to make things work through the year. This is the launch period. Will you get off the ground? Fly straight and get into orbit? Will you crash and burn?

What Did You Launch?

It helps to look back in order to move forward. For me, the intentions I set for myself were in the area of writing – specifically about disclosure. Following the Sabian Symbol of “A Woman in pastel colors carrying a heavy and valuable but veiled load” it was my intention to be sure that all of those things under the veil were exposed. Famously! And Loudly!

Last week I began talking about Resonance and Harmonics. This will be a common topic for me. It is secret technology being veiled from our knowledge that will aid us in Second Renaissance. But not today.

There is disclosure of hidden and secret knowledge. And there is disclosure of shadowy institutions.

Shadowy Institutions

If you have read much of what I have written over the past few years, you have probably heard me rail on the idea of freedom of speech and expression. And part of this is in the role played by the Press. We in the US have constitutionally protected Right to a FREE press. That of course does not give us the right to have either an honest or an unbiased press.

I do not mind a biased press, so long as the bias is disclosed. If you are left wing or right wing or corporatist or a supporter of Bisexual desert animals. I do not care. But for God’s sake. ADMIT IT! How many times have I thought that public figures should be forced to wear special jackets with the names of all the people and Companies who are paying them – not unlike the uniforms worn by NASCAR drivers.

I have been a student of media bias since I detected it in the newspapers I began to read as a teenager. We were taught the the LA Times (I am from Los Angeles) was a “Conservative” newspaper. I believed this all through High School until I visited London on a School trip. There the Tabloids openly admit their bias. And you can read stories side by side on the news stand that had completely opposite conclusions about the same story. I had never noticed this form of biased reporting before. And it turned me off.

When I returned home, I started paying attention to biased writing and thought.

Flash Forward 30 odd years

Since my formative years in paying attention to media, I have made it a study. Read an article. Try to figure what the POV of the author or publication. What are they trying to say? What are they trying to hide?

And despite mind blowing examples of every form of bias rampant everywhere, the partly line of EVERY LAMESTREAM News outlet is “We are Fair and Unbiased!”

This is why when Trump called them out during the 2016 election campaign – Referring to all of them as “FAKE NEWS”, the Lamestream media went apoplectically insane. It was the beginning of all-out propaganda war against him. It was Trump Derangement Syndrome with legs (and a pen or computer).

For the purpose of this article, I came across a quote the other day that succinctly pins the tail on the Lamestream Donkey. It was in an article on the Daily Mail – admittedly a conservative publication.

When “any reporter on CNN” asks a question, “what they’re actually doing is they’re telling the person what to say. … It’s always like leading them in a direction before they even open their mouths,” CNN Technical Director Charlie Chester told James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas. “And the only people that we let on the air, for the most part, are people that have a proven track record of taking the bait.”

James O’Keefe is a . . . reporter. He is known for sending people under cover in different places to expose their lies. He is also conservative.

This is a higher level management type at CNN saying that they are “crafting the News” rather than reporting it. Charlie Chester, in another taped discussion admitted that the reason he took the job at CNN was that he hated Trump and wanted to be in a position to take him down during the election.

A bigger piece to this toilet or cesspool is that this is the same network CNN that Facebook declared was one of the few that it would ALLOW to be promoted on their site (the others were The Washington Post and The New York Times – also horribly biased, but I will not offer any cute stories about them today).

So we have a CNN Editor curating Fake News that can and will be spread on Facebook because Facebook has decided that CNN is a reputable news source.

The hole is deep. We keep digging!
