Crescent Moon Phase
This is the point where we take off. The New Moon phase is one of planning an intentions. Crescent is time to move. An we are faced with two opposite forces.
One is the excitement and exuberance of what we have just planned. This excitement can send us forward on the new adventure.
The Opposing force is the challenge. We question our intentions. Seeing the way forward, we may may stumble and lose our way.
The Crescent phase is where we decide if we have the metal to move forward.
Here is where understanding your personal astrology, and comparing it to the astrology of today, can help see you forward. What may be aspecting in your chart to help?
To the right I have the chart I published on March 24th – The day of the New Moon. There are two places to look at that are important.
FIRST – Imagining the chart as a clock, look at the position about 8:30. This shows the aspects directly in line with the sun at the New Moon . Of course, the Sun and the Moon are together. But dancing with them are both Chiron and The Black Moon. The energies of these together are significant to what is happening to us all month (and if you have been listening to Laura Walker) and since January. I have personally been watching them because they are a bullseye aspect to my personal chart. So I have been swimming it it pretty hard.
So what does that mean? HOMEWORK – find out. Its fun doing homework (haha) especially for all of us parents under Stay at home orders. We just received instruction from our schools about the homework the kids are required to do every day. So look it up on a search engine. Here are some phrases you may want to try:
Sun Conjunct Black Moon
Sun Conjunct Chiron
Moon Conjunct Chiron
Black Moon Conjunct Chiron (You may not find much online. Check out Laura Walker’s book Astrology of the Black Moon available free from www.oraclereport.com.
SECOND – Imagining the chart as a clock, look at the position about 11:00. You will see Saturn Conjunct Pluto and Jupiter Conjunct Mars. These are both significant aspects. And they are moreso because they happen at the Midheaven – which speaks to Life’s Path.
Homework again. Look it up!
Each of these aspects describe the energy we are under right now. I like visualizations to make sense of this. Imagine you are surfing (my favorite visualization). You are sitting on your board out in the ocean and things are happening that are completely beyond your control Waves are coming, There is a riptide, wind, sharks, sand dunes, shorebreak, the water is cold. You can go on and on.
The question is, how do you adjust to these conditions? And before that, how do you even know about them?
Starting with your own chart, you may see where you are very apt at dealing with some conditions, and others are more challenging.
