Today is the Christian observance known as Ascension Day. How do I know this . . . other than the fact that it is premarked on my calendar? Well, I know because the Amish Farmer’s Market nearby had nice handwritten signs all over the place last week announcing that they would be closed today.

My present obsession involves the massive influence of propaganda and social control on our lives. In my little sphere on influence, I believe this to be one of the most frightening threats to our lives. I will be sharing a number of perspectives from prominent individuals who shed light on this.

Now, often when I bring up the subject of media bias and propaganda with most center/mainstream types, they look at me as if I have just sprouted horns. I am to them Alex Jones and Donald Trump incarnate to them.

I think that to most of us, the idea that such manipulations may be taking place is unthinkable. How could we, as intelligent and free-minded individuals ever get duped? We hear about Propaganda from Russia and other Communist Block countries and laugh at examples of what we hear.

Well guess what kids. Its here. And it has been for years. And you have been influenced by it.

In previous articles, I have mentioned Critical Theory (Critical Race Theory and Critical Environmental Theory et al). This movement by Eastern European transplants to our education system have pervasively changed the educational landscape. Their corrosive thought has shaped the way we are taught here in the land of the free to make us see that we are the “Land of Oppression” or “Land of Racism” or Land of waste of Natural resources. Shame Shame Shame on us.

They have then been ready to “suggest” a more Shining Path toward a NEW GLOBAL COMMUNITY. Blah Blah Blah.

Despite their success, you can usually spot these types because they are educationally obtuse. They talk in supra educated, college speak. They write at a grade level of about 15 – what you might expect from a Doctoral Thesis.

For today, I will offer an example of this from prominent American leftist Noam Chomsky. I stole this article from a post on Facebook.
