Happy Monday! Give thanks for unknown blessings already on their way.

If you expected those unknown blessings to be as a result of the Mercury Retrograde that starts today, then they best be called Unexpected Blessings. Mercury Retrograde generally will cause issues with communications, travel and technology. And to think in the next couple days more people will be travelling in the US than pretty much any other time of the year. Will it be a perfect storm? Time will tell.

If you do not know much about Mercury Retrograde, either it does not affect you severely or you just don’t know. It is one of the more common Astronomical alignments. Mercury orbits inside the orbit of the earth and travels around the sun approximately 3 times per our single Earth year. Each time it “laps” the earth, we get a retrograde, which lasts about a month all told.

For myself, my Natal chart is heavily influenced by Mercury. The Planet is in Gemini in my Chart (as is my natal Sun), which is the sign in the Zodiac where Mercury rules. In addition, it is in near direct opposition to the Galactic Center, another prominence. So when Mercury retrogrades in Sagittarius or Gemini, it is game on for me.

What helps is the knowing. Paying attention and being aware of the energy. It then is more like working with the backwards energy rather than having it work against you.

Watch for the Unknown Blessings. Missing that flight might just be a blessing you were not aware of. And be ready to react.
