I must say that when I heard about the plans by the Guv to create a law against the App TikTok, I was floored. An image came directly to mind. JarJar Binks standing in front of the Intergalactic Senate making a motion to give Emergency Powers to Palpatine AKA Darth Sidious AKA leader of the Sith.
Truly JarJar was designed to look and act like a moron. He was the galactic version of Big Bird from Sesame Street. But dressed in Robes and called a Senator. And at the point of the movie that he did this, you wondered whether he was just being a foolish tool or a complete idiot.
On the surface, the tiktok “law” seems like an intelligent way to defend our country against an obvious attack on us from our Global Rival China – who controls TikTok (and presumably the minds of all the children of the US who use it). China, with their mind control device can propagandize the our of the nation. Prepare them for eventual takeover. Create their own Red Guard in the United States.
Imagine all these kids suddenly doing what they are told. Instead of a “Red Guard” travelling the country destroying culturally unpopular items and killing anyone who question them, we might have something that sounded more innocuous. Maybe something like Black Lives Matter or Antifa?
So of course, the Megalords or the US Government plan to “protect” us from this evil menace. And put the sole power to choose who the enemy is in the hands of . . . The President.
Do We Really Have to Ask This?
WHAT democratic organization granted with all the power willfully bestows it upon a single dictator?
Now admittedly, using the actions of characters in StarWars I, II and III is a stretch. They were really bad. But that being said, it goes to the heart of the complete stupidity of this “law” that was vomited out of the House of Representatives. WHO in their right minds bestows powers to POTUS?
If it is now, what moron from the republicans wants the Biden Admin to have this kind of control?
If it is year from now, what idiot democrat wants Trump to have this power?
Bigger Issue: What questions need to be asked
On the normie level, we in the United States like to believe we all play on the same playing field. We have laws. We follow them. And everybody prospers. Or so we think.
Let’s face it. Everyone will look for ways to cheat. At the normie layer, that is why we have the courts. To protect us and make sure everyone is following the rules.
But then we have the rest of the world. And they do not operate by the same rules. And in many cases, instead of conducting business, they are waging war. And the results of their business may have many other goals than just making money.
Anyone paying attention to the business side of this knows it. All you have to do is read about the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative. For people in the way of the road, they are given one of those offers they cannot refuse. China will take over infrastructure and bring prosperity to an area of the world. The catch . . . China owns your ass forever. And all you have to do is ask the people of Hong Kong what that means.
Much of this present hub bub is a result of Peter Schweizer’s new book, Blood Money: Why the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans. All of the sudden, the spell has been lifted at the government level. You have to question whether Mitch McConnel’s decision to step down was fear that people might notice that his wife is part of it. That might be a stretch thought. They have been ignoring it this long.
But it smacked them in the face that TikTok is a trojan horse and the enemy is now among us and we opened the door with smiles on our face. Now the sky is falling and they are trying to do something about it. And we have a congress full of JarJar’s clambering to vote for for it.
I think they need to take a step back a consider their options. But that is me.
What are they trying to control?
What ways will this benefit them?
Who are they influencing?
For myself, I could really care less. I do not use Tiktok. How can I be a target? Well that is what I thought. If you are on Facebook have you seen Facebook Reels? On Youtube, have you seen the Shorts? So that you know, these are TikTok feeds. The cute videos of cats playing, waterfalls and people jumping off cliffs are more than entertainment. These are the mind control. Or at least part of it. And if you watch them regularly, then they are speaking directly to you.
A Simple Plan
I cannot begin to suggest a better plan than the Authoritarian control plans of the Guv. Other than to scream NO DON’T DO IT! But I can suggest another path
Let’s Think This through. Might there be another way to convince the present youth of America (and beyond) to protect themselves from the thought control. It involves speaking to them. Through the very same platforms they are using to control us. The CIA has been doing similar things with Hollywood for at least 80 years. Time to catch up with the times.
Similar to our problem with the border. The present regime has opened the floodgates to foreigners coming for handouts. The reason? To flood us with new, soon to be citizens with will vote for them.
Now admittedly, I do not want them here. Not with our present welfare state at least.
But since they are, and the present regime is making it as hard as possible to get rid of them, why not try and talk to them. In their languages. With a message more favorable. Teach them to be good citizens. Earn their own way. Without the government. They are bringing backwards, primarily Socialist experiences with them. Time for some reeducation. The information war can be fought on many fronts. But right now, do we know who is fighting it?
And what about the Youth of the Nation? TikTok’s biggest influence is on the Millenials and GenZ and Gen Alpha (a new name I just heard from my 14 yo to describe the babies of today raised on ipads and Miss Rachel).
If we have this right, it is these people that the TikTok propaganda machine is working on. If this is the case, it may be time for people to put their thinking caps on and ask what kind of messaging might help to shape them. And find messaging that will lead them to a better place.
For all of us, coming up with the message. Are you up for it? Our future is at stake.
And for a little Pi
In honor of Pi day, we are supposed to chose pie as a dessert. I have seen way too many pictures on Facebook of people’s favorites. I cannot get my favorite. it is no longer made. It was the Blueberry Cheesecake from Seafare Inn in Whittier, California. No longer in business. And sadly I have never seen or tasted a pie like it since.
