Now the “Part 2” of this story is a result of this being the second new moon while in the sign of Aries. Generally, there is one New moon during each sign. But due to the fact that each sign is about 30 days and the lunar cycle lasts about 28 days, this can happen.
But what does it mean? You can call it a “Do Over” as imprints this additional energy on the sign.
I tend to look at is as more of an additive thing. Rather than changing from one to another. It is more addining additional energy to the field. And shince this is the first month of the New Astrological year, this energetic will stay with us throughout the year.
So for a little homework, take a look at the two charts and pay attention to the aspects. Specifically compare the Sabian Symbols from one to the other. See how they interact together.
Also note some of the aspects. Like:
New Year Earth and the Sun square Mars – This is about Action. Then at the end of the month, Earth and Conjunct the Nodes and then Square Pluto (Transformation with the Past and Future). Lots to consider. And an eclipse to boot.
Below is the post I put up at the New year as well as my comments at the time.
Take a look and see what you can see.

In my world, I look to Astrological New Year as The Beginning! Forget Gregorian New Year, Chinese New Year or the wierd calendars in India, Korea and Iran. I prefer the natural cycles.
New Year starts at the New Moon in Aries. Since it is never on the same day, Gregorian types can’t stand it. But I am not using it for the passing of time in days. We have the other calendars for that. I follow the Lunar Cycles.
OH AND PS – Mercury Retrograde starts tomorrow. Pththththththththhhhhh
