I hadn’t thought about it when I came up with this Happy Monday quote, but it has special resonance for me today.

Last week was kind of complicated in our world, thus I was not able to write. Our 15 year old son, who is on the Autism Spectrum, had some issues last week. And by issues, I mean he flipped out and attacked one of his mental health workers and we had him taken to the psych ward. He has been there since last Thursday. They have fianlly found a bed for him at another facility where he will spend some time figuring things out.

It reminded me though to pay attention to any energetic affects that may have been happening at the time – specifically the phase of the moon.

Now, the Full Moon graced us on August 11th. And while the events that caused my son to go to the hospital were on for a week later, the severe behavior started with the Full Moon. Between then and the final event, he had acted out 4 different times. Also in looking at the Moon phase at the time of his birth, we see a match – he was born in the Third Quarter Phase.

I believe I mentioned last week that I really need to look at my son’s chart to see if there is anything that may offer insight into where he is. And specifically if there is anything that could be affecting him more.

Mental Health and The Moon

I really think it is funny that when you mention about odd things hapening during a Full Moon, people still look at you as if you had horns coming out of your head. I recall a few months back my son was having one of his tirades. His Behaviorist insisted that I take him to the ER to be committed then. I refused her due to not wanting to be in the ER during a Full Moon. She thought I was an idiot and told me so. Funny thing was that when life started going south back on the 11th, this same behaviorist made note of the Full Moon (my wife had sworn me to say nothing about it).

Why shouldn’t we pay more attention to this and specifically prepare for the occurance (which as ou recall happenes every 28 or so days). Thee is not a single Emergency Room worker or EMT that will deny that Full Moon brings out the crazies. And if not mental health, it shows in more accidents and injuries.

A quick google search will show that the Mainstream of the medial industry says either that “data” says otherwise. Or else they concurr that they cannot statistically link the two. They also say that ER’s may or may not not be busier, but the types of patients seen are definitely more unusual.

I believe that the truth may lead closer to things that the medical establishment just does not want to admit. And that is that they just do not know, and because they do not know, they can not prescribe something to fix it. If there is no drug for it, then they will claim that it does not exist.

What I will say is that from my statistical sample of 1 (my son) at 14 years times 12 months – or about 170 full moons – I will say that there is a difference. We used to make werewolf jokes with him – and only partially because he was scared of werewolves.

Unfortunately, the Moon and the medical establishment are in about the same place as the Medical Establishment’s stand on the causes of Autism. They completely ignore the dramatic increase in the number of cases since the 1980’s. Especially any correlation to the fact that they went from recommending about 6 vaccines up until then and now that number is in the 50’s? While still claiming that the Mercury content in the Thermisol carrier is “insignificant”?

Distopia at its best!

All I know is that my autistic son went into the ER after being triggered during a full moon phase. He will be examined and drugged to control how he acts n the future. My guess is that they will not be looking at his diet or determining if there are any foreign substances (call them heavy metals) that might be affecting him.
