FRINGE

What does “on the fringe” mean?

Figuratively, to be on the fringe indicates to be outside of or not favored by the mainstream population; unconventional, radical or extreme; not completely belonging to or accepted by a group of people who share the same job, activities, etc.; at the extremes of something, typically political thought.

– The Google AI

I like to consider what Astrogardens is about. This is important when listing it in search engines and message boards and the like. Is it about Gardening? Astrology? Prepping? Politics? Health? Holidays? Science? The Education system?

I like to think all of those things, but that makes for an unfocussed blog. It is recommended that when you want a successful blog, you should keep to a single topic and stay focused. But the problem with that is that I like writing about all of these things.

After watching what the “mainstream” wants to call normal vs what these same people will dismiss as outside normal, it is not hard to see a disconnect. And a little research to allow us to ask questions that are not answered by their narratives.

In looking at what I write about here on Astrogardens, I embrace what the mainstream will call Fringe.

So, I will ask some questions here about some of these so-called Fringe elements. Maybe you won’t see them as too far outside reality:

Gardening – So many people have gardens around where they live. My point in starting mine was more than being able to have fresh Tomatoes in the summer. It was more to ask the question about whether or not I could survive if somehow the Shit Hit the Fan and our society breaks down.

  • How would I survive and be able to feel my family?
  • Would you be able to support yourself and your loved ones with food?

Prepping – For the purposes of this blog, gardening was just a subset of the question about what to do when the Shit Hit the Fan. In this, so many of us are woefully unprepared. Should society breakdown, can we survive? The mainstream will laugh at those of us who pay attention to this. But ask yourself how far we really are. Consider what you would be doing in the last year in these scenarios:

  • You lived in the Ukraine
  • You lived in Gaza
  • You lived in Syria
  • You lived in Israel
  • You lived in Florida on the Guld Coast
  • You lived in the Mountains of North Carolina
  • You lived in Pacific Palisades

Would you have had a plan when disaster struck?

Astrology – For the past 14 years, I have been involved in Astrology. I got to know Laura Walker from the Oracle Report and developed and managed her Facebook Group. For me it was at first to answer a question – What was Mercury Retrograde and did it affect me. And that Rabbit Hole got really deep, really fast.

For the purpose of my blog, I publish the chart of the day (usually), the Lunar phase, The Sabian Symbols for the Sun and Earth and the Farmer’s Almanac advice for planting and Best Days. Honestly, all of it is information you can find in any Almanac, which is a tool that farmers throughout the history of our country to determine when to plant their crops.

FOR ANYONE WHO DOES NOT BELIEVE IN ASTROLOGY – Your belief is not necessary. It is not necessary for you to watch weather reports in the morning. Skipping them is at your own risk. Surfers do not need to know the tides either. Unless they want to know how the surf will hit that day. It is up to you to decide. That being said, consider the words of Benjamin Franklin:

And the world of JP Morgan:

When we look at the Fringe elements, often we find that what lies beneath the surface is not so much as “fringe” as it is information that has been cancelled or suppressed. And the people who are suppressing it are the ones calling it fringe.

This is why we go down the rabbit hole time after time. This is why we Pay Attention.
