What 9-11 Means Now
Today 2 of my sons came home from school and asked us a question. Do you remember where you were on 9-11? My sons are 17 and 15 – born in 2006 and 2009. So this was for them like the question that many people also ask, “Do you remember where you were when you found out Kennedy was shot?” Gen Z has no idea about the emotions around that day.
But it is the emotions that make this annual observance such a problem.
On 9-11, the rug was pulled out from under all of us. We had to witness in full color and in stereo absolute horror. Victims jumping from the top floors of the towers, choosing for themselves the way to die. Iconic buildings falling down. People in New York covered in ash. FDNY heroes pulling people to safety. Ozzy Osborne going to church to pray for the victims.
We were there, on camera and on the phone watching and listening to it while it happened. We heard the screams of the people in the stairways and the buildings collapsed. We heard the passengers on Flight 93 decide they would fight.
And the aftermath. Counting the dead. Picking up the mountains of debris. Interviews with the families. 7 Days of restricted travel – no flights allowed.
And the Hate. Who would do such a thing. Its a religious war.
With all these emotions, this event became untouchable. Unquestionable. This happened and we had to mourn. We had to express patriotism. Flags waved across the country and around the world.
For all of you out there, this is the definition of a FALSE FLAG event. And people get confused about what that means. SOMETHING happened. Airplanes crashed. Buildings fell. People died. SOMEONE would tell us what happened and WE would believe it. And we would act upon WHAT WE WERE TOLD.
And god help anyone who questioned the narrative. They would become unpatriotic. They were Islamic sympathizers. They were conspiracy theorists. They were enemies of the people. And they would be dealt with.
And the questions? The one’s we were not supposed to ask. I’ll offer you a few.
- Was it really Islamic terrorists?
- Did Bin Laden order the strike?
- What really happened to the Pentagon?
- Why was there a hole with no debris is Shenksville?
- How did two of the tallest buildings in the world collapse straight down into a pile?
- What exactly was in Building 7 and why did it fall down?
- A whole bunch more.
There are whole books and wikipedia pages designed to shame anyone for even considering them.
Because the questions then bring into the light some of the crazy aftermath results of 9-11, like:
- The Afghanistan war
- The Iraq War
- The Patriot Act
- Skyrocketing the price of oil – and the resulting price increases of ALL items having to be shipped.
- TSA searches
- 4 more years of Bush Cheyney
On this day, 23 years ago, life changed. The question remains whether those in the halls of power knew about things in advance, were part of it, and were prepared for what the aftermath could be. Or if they were in the right place and time and were able to be a part of the story as it was written.
